  • mxL Joist - Laminated structural lumber
  • Lengths as required up to 60'
  • Available in a wide selection of sizes, widths from 1 1/2" (standard) and 1 3/4"

Performance Features

  • No squeaks due to shrinkage. Super dry manufactured lumber avoids shrinkage problems.
  • Faster installation.
    • Longer lengths - multiple spans stiffen floors.
    • Wider joist spacing - fewer pieces to handle.
    • Joist laps eliminated - plywood installs faster.
    • Mid span blocking not required.
  • Long lengths reduce theft. Joists may be ordered cut to net length reducing material waste and job cleanup costs.
  • Packaged to meet job site requirements.
  • Standard Fire - rated assemblies can save construction costs. Only one layer of gypsum board required verses two layers required for typical I-Joist assemblies.
